On May 28 at 08.50 Lori Region policemen and Gougark Department employees checked Ford Transit “80 2.5-De” car, its driver is Aragats S., 40, in Fioletovo Village. The car was loaded with 2.8 m2 timber. The driver stated he illegally cut the trees in November 2010 in the forest adjacent to Dilijan Town and took it to his house yard with further aim of transporting it to Gyumri. The police are conducting expert assessment, while the initial investigation is in progress.
