The epidemiological situation in Solak and Qakhsi Villages, Kotayk Region, is quiet. This is Health Ministry reply to EcoLur’s enquiry. The enquiry was made in this regard: the cleaning station where the sewage from Hrazdan and Tsaghkadzor Towns flow into doesn’t operate and the sewage freely flow into the Hrazdan River, and then through Qakhsi Village. The villagers use this water to irrigate their fields and orchards.

The Health Ministry reply signed by Apparatus Head Suren Qrmoyan lays down the morbidity rate in Solak and Qakhsi Villages for 2008-2011. Under the Ministry data, these communities have no typhus, paratyphoid fever, salmonella, dysentery, as well as hepatitis, and other characteristic diseases. Only one case of intestinal disease of unknown etiology was recorded, while excess for indicator made up three cases in Qakhsi Village for 2010.
