On November 3 the Armenian Government adopted a decision on Trchkan Waterfall. According to this decision, amendments have been made in the temporary scheme for land use in Mets Parni Village by transferring one hectare of waterfall whereabouts to the category of specially protected territories and introducing specially protected territory regime in the territory of Trchkan waterfall.
'In this way we will consider this issue completely solved,' the Prime Minister said.
EcoLur welcomes the government decision, but thinks it's needed to remind that the license for HPP construction and water use permit hasn't officially been annulled, while 'Robshin' Company has already announced about suing the Nature protection Ministry, of the Ministry annuls the license.
