The establishment of a biosphere comples will reduce the impact of mining in Syunik, as Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan said at his meeting with Caucasus Nature Fund Executive Director David Morrison on 24 February, as Information and Public Relations Department of Nature Protection Ministry informs. David Morrison positively assessed the works carried out in 'Khosrov Forest' state reserve, as well as in the frames of 'Establishing Biosphere Area in Syunik Region' project. The CNF plans to provide 282 million AMD for the implementation of environmental projects in Armenia for 2014.
