Aramayis Grigoryan, RA Minister of Nature Protection, during his visit to The Federal Republic of Germany had a meeting with the council members of the Bank for Reconstruction and Development of Germany (KFW). The sides discussed the projects being carried out in Armenia supported by KFW, the prospects of the projects in a starting point.
Particularly, the 3rd stage of “The Project on the Areas Protected in Armenia” was discussed, for which KFW provides Armenia 8 million 250 thousand euros. The Minister Aramayis Grigoryan emphasized that now the important target for Armenia is to invest an automatic, centralized system of managing water usage in the Ararat valley, to make plans for managing 6 basins in Armenia, as well as to examine, assess the environmental state of the RA lands and create a database and electronic maps.
