The delegation headed by Deputy Nature Protection Minister Khachik Hakobyan had a working meeting with the delegation having arrived from the Islamic Republic of Iran in Agarak Town, Syunik Region, headed by Senior Advisor to Energy Minister for industrial and technology development and power supplies Homayoun Hayeri.
The delegations of both countries had a joint visit in Agarak Copper and Molybdenum Combine, considered the water circulation system working there, and familiarized with industrial and technological stages. The IRI delegation was impressed with the works carried out in the combine. The parties discussed possibilities of passing to full water circulation system in the combine by 2017. Joint monitoring of Arak river water quality was also discussed.
