The Environmental Inspection of Nature Protection Ministry is detecting the causes of fish death in the Hrazdan River. As the circulated press release says, the Ministry received the signal on the fish death in the Hrazda River, near “Geghama” restaurant on 26 December. Water samples were taken from the river for analysis next to “Geghama” and “Getap” restaurants, as well as samples from the dead fish. The Ministry will additionally inform about the outcomes of the laboratory analysis. Reminder: in February 2010 a mass fish death was recorded in the Hrazdan River. The whole fauna was poisoned in the river in a range of 600 meters. According to the ministry statement, the cause of the death was chlorine poisoning.
