World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Armenia and Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets will together struggle for the conservation and recovery of the species on the verge of extinction in Armenia. In this regard, the both parties have signed a memorandum. “The basis of our cooperation is the aim to preserve and not to allow that human activities will finally eliminate the Armenia species, which will be unable to recover anywhere,” said Ruben Khachatryan, the founder of the Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets.

“This is unprecedented for Armenia, when two organizations join their efforts for the common goal,” said World Wildlife Fund (WWF) Armenia Director Karen Manvelyan. Under Karen Manvelyan, the cooperation will include several fields and one of the main tasks is to create environmental corridors, “We expect to do more for the conservation of the fauna during our cooperation.” Watch more details in the video.
