The recovery and expansion of green zones in Yerevan city has been implemented due to the environmental fees paid by 6 largest polluting factories since 2010. These factories are as follows: “Pure Iron”, “Armenia Molybdenum Production”, “Gajegorts”, “Gaj”, “Yerevan TPP” and “Nairit”. In total, around 420 organizations have been recorded in Yerevan City, the operations of which have adversary effect on the atmospheric air, as “Yerevan Development Program for 2014-2017” document says.
