In 2014 the Control Chamber will examine the lawfulness of soil management and right to soil management in the territory of Armenia. The Armenian National Assembly approved the Control Chamber program on 3 December 2013. Besides the control over soil management, the Control Chamber will also examine the budget allocations to construction, capital repair and health, as well as the implementation of different issues.
The balance of the Armenian natural resources currently has over 670 mines with their approved reserves, including 30 metallic mines. Around 400 out of the aforementioned mines are developed, including 22 metallic mines.
