On 19 December the Armenian Government approved “Exemplary Program for Quick Response to Forest Fires and Organizing Forest Fire Fighting Actions.” As the program rationale says, it will promote the reduction of forest fires and fires of other vegetation-covered territories (reduction of case number and their consequences), as well as significant improvement of forest fires and fires of other vegetation-covered territories.
