On August 29, 2019, Government of the Republic of Armenia reached a decision to ensure the cleaning of Lake Sevan flooded forest cover.
Cleaning works will be carried out on 98 hectares instead of the planned 66.8 hectares. In addition, 2590.7 thousand saved under contracts concluded within the scope of procurement out of 117062.0 thousand AMD allocated from RA 2019 budget will be directed to the government reserve fund.
