According to Voskehat Grigoryan, Acting Head of Biodiversity and Specially Protected Areas Policy Department of Environment Ministry, the general picture of the objects subject to water flooding has been identified and inventoried: they cover an area of about 750 hectares. In 2019, 98 ha area was cleaned. In 2020, it is planned to clean 271 hectares, out of which 50 hectares are currently cleaned.
Referring to illegal fishing, Voskehat Grigoryan said that a law should be developed to regulate fishing.
