On August 13, the process of freeing the littoral areas of Lake Sevan from illegal land acquisitions and illegal constructions was launched, as Spokesman for Environment Minister Davit Grigoryan posted on his Facebook page.
"It was last week when Minister Petrosyan toured the shores of Lake Sevan on the peninsula. The violations revealed on the spot were instructed to give an immediate solution. Early in the morning, the dismantling of an open-air pavilion-cafe with prefabricated structures built in the central part of Sevan Peninsula about a month ago, without proper construction documents, was launched," he posted.
