On October 10-14, 2022, Acopian Center for the Environment at AUA and RA Environmental Protection and Mining Inspection Body held the week of "Copernicus assisted environmental monitoring across the Black Sea Basin" (PONTOS) project in Armenia.
As part of PONTOS week, a three-day course on "Space Observations and Environmental Monitoring", a familiarization field visit to the Armenian pilot area of Lake Sevan, a PONTOS final conference, a panel discussion and a PONTOS Hackathon were organized for young scientists and professionals.
