Executive Allocated another 300 Million AMD To "Sevan Trout Stock Restoration and Fishery Development Foundation", Which Already Spent 9 Billion AMD

On November 3, 2022, RA government decided to provide 300 million AMD to "Sevan Trout Stock Restoration and Fishery Development Foundation" for measures aimed at the recovery of the foundation. The amount will be allocated by RA Environment Ministry from the unused and saved financial resources of the programs implemented in the state budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2022.

It is clear from the substantiation of the decision that the Foundation has urgent expenses to be paid until December 31, 2022, which are salary, taxes, loan, accounting service fee, audit, loan repayment, electricity fee, "Sevan National Park" fee, fish feed, bankruptcy accounts payable, maintenance and other re-equipment costs.

As a result, it is expected that the Foundation will release around 30,000 small trout with an average weight of 3-4 g by the end of 2022 in order to restore the trout stocks.

It should be noted that 9 billion AMD were allocated from the state budget as a donation for the trout breeding program in Lake Sevan, but not only did not the program justify this donation, but also accumulated debts.
