In 2022, deforestation works of 55.03 ha of water-covered areas were carried out in Vardenik and Tsovinar areas on the shores of Lake Sevan. According to the press release disseminated by Environment Ministry, 22.86 hectares of the cleared area were handed over by execution acts, 32.17 hectares were cleared, but not handed over yet.
