Water quality monitoring was carried out in Lake Sevan on August 7-8. Observations were carried out in both surface and bottom layers of the lake, as RA Environment Ministry informs.
According to the preliminary results, the concentration of dissolved oxygen in the surface and middle layers of the lake is greater than 6 mg/l, which is sufficient for the preservation of fauna.
The phosphate ion content made up 0.09 mg/l in the surface layers of Great and Little Sevan, it was 0.055 mg/l in the bottom layers in Great Sevan and 0.210 mg/l in Little Sevan.
