Lake Sevan Water Level Continues to Rise

Lake Sevan’s water level continues to increase. As of June 4, 2026, the lake stood at 1900.60 meters above sea level, marking a 38-centimeter rise since the beginning of the year.

Despite this upward trend, the lake’s level remains 16 centimeters lower than on the same date last year.

As of June 3, 2026, the volume of water transferred to Lake Sevan through Arpa–Sevan tunnel, including groundwater inflow through the system, amounted to 96.953 million cubic meters.
