The state of water in the communities of Ararat Valley continues to be poor. The Coordinator of Public Environmental Alliance Silva Adamyan said about it at the discussion of EcoLur’s “Biblical Disaster” Film. He mentioned that in June 2014 she conducted surveys in Armash and Surenavan communities, Ararat Valley. 24 surveyed definitely sad that the situation with drinking and irrigation water is as poor as it was in 2013.
“All the time we insist that we should let out water from Lake Sevan to improve the people’s living for them to be able to irrigate their fields, but when our specialists had a look at it, they said there is no way for this water to flow and reach the destination,” Silva Adamyan said. She proposed to set up an alternative group of scientists and specialists to save Lake Sevan, who will interpret the situation professionally and will make professional proposals to the Government.
