We have received an alarm signal from Sevan residents who had bought crucian carp from the market and detected tapeworms in the fish while cleaning them. Under the residents, the fish in Sevan infectious and has diseased. We tried to find out personally from the ichthyologists what kind of infection it was. The Head of Scientific Center for Zoology and Hydroecology B. Gabrielyan mentioned in his conversation with us, this phenomenon isn’t new: every year with summer season coming up such an infection spreads among the fish.
