The water of the canal in the village of Ranchpar in Ararat Region has got suspicious colour: a video was posted on Facebook on December 14. The Environmental and Mining Inspection has responded to this alarm signal.
“On December 14, 2019, a video was posted on the Internet about the pollution of water in the canal adjacent to Masis-Ranchpar highway in Ararat Region of the Republic of Armenia: Ararat Regional Department of Environmental and Mining Inspection quickly responded and immediately went to the scene and conducted a study. Water sampling has been carried out to detect contamination. Additional information will be provided on the results," the Inspection says in its statement.
