Alarm Signal: Cultivated Land Areas in Noragavit Covered with Garbage

Noragavit area resident Edgar Nazaryan is beating an alarm signal to EcoLur that the cultivated land areas are covered with garbage in Noragavit.

In his letter Noragavit resident writes,

“A large land area next to Artashat highway adjacent to Noragavit cemeteries is gradually converting to a landfill site. Whatever I said is not an exaggeration. This area is visible from the highway and is next to the new cemetery. In March 2014 I beat an alarm signal on this problem. The Municipality has leveled 10 meters of area near the street of Municipality, they wrote they had cleaned up the whole territory, which is an evident lie. Now the contamination of cultivated land areas is gradually increasing. At least several times a week they bring construction garbage with trucks and dump it off here, even they dump it near the new cemetery.”
