At the National Assembly Armenian Deputy PM Tigran Avinyan mentioned he doesn't possess any information on the process of recognizing 'Vallex' Company developing Teghout mine as bankrupt.

MP Armenuhi Kyureghyan mentioned that many employees of Teghout mine sold their land areas at very low prices to Vallex Company operating this mine and were given verbal promises that they will be provided with work for 50 years, nevertheless, people have lost their jobs and land areas at this moment, as well as they have loans, which they can't pay off because of job losses. Please, inform us whether it is possible to resume mining, if yes, what time frames are, and whether it is possible to freeze the interest payment of these loans unless the problem of their employment is solved?'' Kyureghyan asked as the Armenpress informs.

Deputy PM Tigran Avinyan stated this problem is on the list of government priorities. 'I have personally met the representatives of Vallex Company, I am well aware of the problem and now there is a committee established upon my assignment, which is dealing with this problem. Vallex company is currently experiencing problems. The committee will have its first meeting next week and solutions can be found,' Avinyan said.
