On February 7, 2023, the problems of implementing digital technologies and applications for waste management were discussed at Yerevan Municipality. RA Deputy Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructures Vache Terteryan, Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Avinyan, representatives of "Big Three" company, heads of administrative districts of Yerevan, managers of structural divisions, community institutions took part in this meeting.
The application will provide an opportunity to monitor online, to receive information on the entire process of garbage collection, starting from the route of garbage trucks, management of garbage cans, and transportation of garbage. As the press release of Yerevan Municipality says, around 1300-1800 tons of household waste are transported from the entire territory of Yerevan to the Nubarashen landfill site every day, an average of 600 thousand tons per year.
