On June 13, 2023, the deep fire that broke out in Nubarashen landfill site in Yerevan was extinguished, as EcoLur was informed by Yerevan Municipality. "There was a light deep fire in the garbage accumulation area, which was quickly extinguished with the help of the rescue service. There was no risk of spreading, because the area was covered with earth," Levon Sardaryan, Head of News Department of Yerevan Municipality, noted.
It should be noted that on June 13, Rescue Service of RA Ministry of Internal Affairs issued a statement, which says there is another fire in Nubarashen landfill site.
