RA Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body hasn't detected dead fish in the Vorotan River, as Deputy Head of Inspection I. Sargsyan informed EcoLur in writing.
Reminder: EcoLur had addressed an alarm signal to RA Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body that there was a die-off of fish with silt recorded in the Vorotan river. A large amount of water washed away layers of soil and possible household garbage pollution and making the water flowing in the Vorotan River muddy.
In reply, the Inspection Body informed, 'Syunik Territorial Division employees of RA Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body have visited the scene, carried out the examination, as a result of which there was no case of die-off of water animals recorded in the Vorotan River.
In line with the discussion held at RA Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body on 10 May 2018 with your participation and the arrangement we reached, in case you possess materials confirming the damage caused to the fauna or in case such facts are revealed, these materials should be submitted to RA Nature Protection and Soil Inspection Body in the shortest time limits possible to proceed with the relevant procedures.'
