Residents of Mesrop Mashtots street in Aparan Town, Aragatsotn Region, beat an alarm signal to EcoLur about the problems caused by the pig farm located 20-30 m from their houses. In their conversation with EcoLur, they mentioned that there is a discharge of waste water from the territory of the pig farm to the Qasakh River.
According to the residents, the leaking wastewater flows near their houses and spreads an unbearable stench.
Aparan residents appealed to Aragatsotn Regional Head Sergey Movsisyan and Aparan Community Hall with the demand to settle the problem.
Aragatsotn regional administration informed EcoLur that they have received the residents' letter and the issue has been processed.
