Water intake from Lake Sevan can be increased to 197 million cubic meters. According to the resolution of RA Government No. 1301-N of August 18, 2022, the 2022 plan-schedule of the headwater intake of the irrigation canals fed by Sevan-Hrazdan energy-irrigation system was approved. According to the schedule, the water flow from Lake Sevan will make up 197 million cubic meters in 2022, that is, 27 million cubic meters more water will be taken than the 170 million cubic meters prescribed by law.
