On March 12, 2026, the employees of “Veolia Water” company opened the discharge valve of a sewer pipeline passing over the Hrazdan River during works to eliminate a sewer blockage in the village of Argel, Nor Hachn community, Kotayk Region. As a result, sewage flowed into the Hrazdan River.
This action, carried out without a water use permit issued by the authorized body, entails administrative liability.
