Public victory was marked a symbolic move for those who supported Trchkan waterfall. A rock concern was held in Shirakamut Village, near Trchkan, with such famous rock bands as
«BAMBIR», «VORDAN KARMIR», «LOUSNELIUS», «SCREAM», «YAN» and «THE DREAMERS». This victory is rather convincing, as on 3 November the Government of Armenia adopted a decision on granting the status of a specially protected territory to Trchkan waterfall, while on November 4 Nature Protection Minister Aram Harutyunyan made a statement that the positive opinion of the state environmental expert assessment for small HPP construction project was recognized as null and void.
