Artashar Communtiy Head: Sevan Water Didn’t Reach Village, It Was Used To Cool ANPP Reactor

Artashar Village, Armavir Region, is experiencing problems with water. Villagers think their only way out is the water from Lake Sevan, but it doesn’t reach them. “We need Sevan water. So far the water has been used to call the reactor of the Metsamor nuclear power plant, we haven’t used it yet. Today the government has developed a program to let out more water, and we will get this water, if it serves the purposes it has been let out. If we don’t get the water, another agricultural village will emigrate Armenia,” said Artashar Community Head Manvel Ohanyan.
