… “Serious measures have been undertaken to develop small hydro power plants. 70 small hydro power plants have been constructed within 5 years that produce 270 million KW per hour”, said the Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Armen Movsisyan and noted that still many more small hydro power plants are in the process of construction. The whole potential of small hydro power plants is estimated as 500 million KW per hour.
Under the Minister, wind energy potential is under study which is estimated as 500 MB per hour.
