At present preparatory activities for construction of Teghout mining and processing enterprise and exploitation of copper-molybdenum deposit are not ceased, informed the Information and Public Relations Department of Company.
Teghout cjsc has already constructed and prepared for operation the concrete mixer knot with 40m3/h productivity; main and temporary roads with the length of 30.250 km have been constructed; and 35 kv tension transmission lines over 8 km have been installed. Construction of drainages, channels and water pipes required for passing round the territory of the future tailing dumps is in process.
At the same time, negotiations with different interested parties are in progress to allow raising necessary financing for developing Teghout copper-molybdenum deposit in accordance with the approved project.
During 2008 logging covered 20.23 hectare territories instead of 35 hectare planned for the year. According to the joint order of RA Ministry of Nature Protection and Ministry of Agriculture, preparation work for reforestation in Lori marz Teghout and Shnogh communities and nearby territories (with the total 135 hectare surface) is in progress.
We would like to inform that with the initiative and financing of Teghout cjsc youth of Lori marz and students from different universities realized planting over a total of 3959m2 territory.
