Some residents of Gndevaz residential area in Jermuk community, Vayots Dzor Region, are ready to return the sum of money they received from Lydian Armenia Company for the sale of their land areas. Most of them had to sell their land areas to the company for the construction of land areas, as large land areas had already been sold, and, anyway, eminent domain would be recognized over small land areas. 'These 3-4 millions has no significance for us as compared with the land areas taken from us,' one Gndevaz resident said. One of the speakers, geologist Haykaram Arsenyan noted if Amulsar mine operates, the dust generated from explosions will be blown to Gndevaz through winds and pollute the community land areas. During this discussion, the participants reconfirmed their position – they are against Amulsar gold mining project. More details in Tehmine Yenoqyan's video.
