On July 1, 2020, the situation was tense in the area of the second guard post established by the local residents on the road leading to the Amulsar gold-bearing quartzite mine. The guards of Amulsar demand that the new security guard company of "Lydian Armenia" CJSC provide only one shift guard service in the area, whereas the reserve staff of the guard group shall leave the area. The guards of Amulsar also demanded that the cars belonging to the guard company be taken out of the guard post area.
