List of Armenian Monuments of Nature Supplemented with New One The list of natural monuments of Armenia has been supplemented with a new natural monument. At the suggestion of RA Environment Ministry, the executive made an addition to the list of natural monuments in the decision № 967-N dated on August 14, 2008, including Mount Karmir Qatar (Tar) in the Geghama mountain range. "Being a unique expression of monogenic volcanism, it has a great scientific-recreational significance. It is also of great tourist importance and is considered a favorite place for many mountaineers and eco-tourists,” the rationale of the decision says.
