Armavir Town 70 residents (Armavir Region) have addressed an open letter to Armenian PM Tigran Sargsyan. In their letter the residents demand to stop the civil works in the central park of the town.
This letter is displayed as an alarm signal on the official website of the Armenian Government, www.gov.am, in “Press about Us” without mentioning the source. In our turn we would like to mention that starting from May 2011 Armavir residents have literally been fighting to preserve the single park in their town. You can regularly see the appeals of different civic groups who object to illegal constructions supported by Armavir Municipality, in social networks and mass media. At present three objects are in the construction process: a bank, a vet pharmacy and a church.
