The employees of Nature Protection and Mining Inspection Body found violations in "Aghstev-1" SHPP operated by "LNX" LLC. The company has taken more than 3,141,369 cubic meters of water from the amount defined by the water use permit. It has not carried out the registration of all hazardous waste in accordance with the established procedure, as well as getting the consent of the authorized body.
An administrative fine in the amount of AMD 250,000 was imposed on the director of the company. The amount of damage caused to the environment constituted 6,282,739 AMD. It should be noted that "Aghstev-1" SHPP draws water from the Aghstev River in Shamakhyan section of "Dilijan" National Park.
