At the sitting held on October 28, RA Government decided to invest 377.4 hectares of land worth 822,084,793 AMD in the statutory capital of State Interests Fund of Armenia within the framework of “Ayg-1" solar photovoltaic station project.
Reminder: RA government was considering taking the lands by donation under decision 1922-L dated on December 26, 2019.
"Ayg-1" program envisages the construction of a 200-megawatt solar power plant in the area of Dashtadem and Talin Communities in Aragatsotn Region. The project is implemented by the joint company "ANIF" established by "Masdar" company from the United Arab Emirates. The solar station is scheduled to be commissioned in 2025.
