"In the 150-hectare area of Yerevan Park, we have a big greening and afforestation plan, and we are planning to move the Zoo there, to keep the animals in better, more open conditions in a new format, because the conditions of the Zoo we have do not allow us to do that," Yerevan Deputy Mayor Tigran Avinyan said this at the session of Yerevan Aldermen’s Council held on April 4, 2023.
