Forest Park Dedicated to Memory of Artsakh Wars Victims Founded in "Yerablur”

A forest park dedicated to the memory of the victims of the Artsakh wars was established in the 12-ha area around "Yerablur" military pantheon. The heroes' parents participated in the planting of around 4,500 trees and shrubs, as we learn from the official website of Yerevan Municipality.

According to the Yerevan Municipality, the establishment of a forest grove in "Yerablur" is a part of Yerevan's spring tree planting. Another 1,500-2,000 trees are planned to be planted on the sidewalks and parks of the capital. All new trees being planted are 3-5m tall trees over 10 years old.

In general, Yerevan Municipality has planned to expand the green areas of the capital this year by about 15 hectares and build a new irrigation network of 30 km.
