The number of MPs opposing the Amulsar program is growing. "Amulsar should not become a mine, I haven’t changed my mind," MP Sofya Hovsepyan told 168.am.

"It's risky for me. The fact that even with a very small percentage, even with the best exploitation, there may be a risk to Lake Sevan, which is our number one asset, secondly, the waters of Vayots Dzor and Syunik Regions in general, and the third - Jermuk, which is considered a health resort area," Sofya Hovsepyan said in her interview with the168.am.

Responding to the question whether the counter-arguments presented by the Prime Minister were not convincing, she replied: "The Prime Minister's speech on Amulsar's expert assessment is not convincing, but for me there is one approach. I am confident that during all this time the Prime Minister will hear the opinions of many experts and will study the maximum."
