Positive Conclusion to "Geo Survey" for Prospecting Gold and Polymetals in Tatna Mine Field

RA Environment Ministry has issued a positive conclusion to "Geo Service" LLC for the geological study within Tatna copper and gold-polymetallic mines of Sisian mining region in Syuniq Region.

The observed area is located in the middle and upper reaches of Lernashen River, on the southern slopes of Mount Sevqar (Kara-kaya). The geological survey is planned to be carried out in an area of​​about 312.8 hectares. 

Under the project, the concentrations of metals are as follows: 0.9 g/t of gold, 30 g/t of silver, 0.3% of copper, 1.3% of lead and 1.1% of zinc.

The observed area is 35 km away from Sisian town, 4.2 km away from Dastakert settlement, and only 1.5 km away from Shenatagh village. 

The rationale of the positive conclusion, it is mentioned that during the public discussions held in Shenatagh village, the local self-government bodies and the public approved the planned activity. The application says: "Geo Survey" LLC plans to transfer 50,000 AMD to the budget of Shenatagh Community every year." The company plans to allocate 50,000 AMD for the implementation of environmental monitoring.

"Geo Survey" LLC was established on May 18, 2016. The 100% owner of the company is Sergey Otaryan, a citizen of the Republic of Armenia.
