RA State Revenue Committee has published the list of the first 1000 large taxpayers for January-June 2022. More than 722 billion 325 million AMD were paid to the state budget by 1000 large taxpayers in 2022.
The first large taxpayer is "Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine" CJSC, which operates the largest Qajaran mine in Armenia. In the first half of 2022, ZCMC paid 104 billion 777 million 628 thousand AMD in tax, out of which 35 billion 448 million 844 thousand AMD was paid by the company in the first quarter of 2022, whereas it was almost double 69 billion 328 million 784 thousand AMD in the second quarter.
Among the mining companies, the next largest taxpayer is "Teghut" CJSC, which operates Teghut copper-molybdenum mine, on the 5th position of the list with revenues of 8 billion 903 million 200 thousand AMD.
"Agarak Copper-Molybdenum Combine" CJSC, which operates Agarak copper-molybdenum mine, improved its position in the list this year, rising from the 63rd position last year to the 7th place and paying 7 billion 772 million 129 thousand AMD in taxes.
