ZCMC is preparing to implement an automated railway system for the transportation of bulk rock mass from Qajaran mine.
"Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine" CJSC has submitted to RA Environment Ministry an application for the implementation of the automated railway system for the transportation of bulk mountain mass of Qajaran open pit (SLZTAEH SARD-1200) and the change of the final edge of the open pit http://env.am/storage/files/syuniq -03-10.pdf
Under the project, an automated railway system /SLZTAEH SARD-1200/ for the transportation of bulk mountain mass of the mine will be introduced, thanks to which the productivity of the transportation of mountain mass will increase.
Under the project, the final boundary of the open pit will be changed, the purpose of which is to select an optimal location for the planned production facilities.
No change in production volumes is planned.
As a result of the implementation of the project, it is planned to reduce the amount of dust emitted during loading and unloading of empty rocks by half from 42 t/t to 21 t/t.
