

RA State Revenue Committee has published the list of the first 1000 large taxpayers for the 3 quarter of 2022, January-September. We present the taxes paid by the listed metal mining companies.
The first largest taxpayer is again "Zangezur Copper-Molybdenum Combine" CJSC, the operator of Armenia's largest Qajaran mine. During 9 mounths 2022, ZCMC paid 129 billion 163 million 071 thousand AMD in taxes. It should be noted that this year ZCMC’s tax payments have recorded a leap. In 2021, the company paid 48 billion 842 million 019 thousand AMD in taxes for the whole year, whereas 42 billion 983 million 579 thousand AMD - in 2020. Around 92 billion AMD in two years, i.e. 37 billion AMD less than in the 9 mounths of 2022.
The next largest taxpayer is "Agarak Copper-Molybdenum Combine" CJSC, which operates Agarak copper-molybdenum mine. The company ranks 8th in the list with 11 billion 698 million 473 thousand AMD of tax revenues.
"Teghut" CJSC, which operates Teghut copper-molybdenum mine, lost its position in the list of large taxpayers, coming from the 5th position on the list to the 13th position with tax revenues of 9 billion 396 million 620 thousand AMD.
"Chaarat Kapan" CJSC, which operates Kapan copper mine, has paid 4 billion 676 million 139 thousand AMD.
"Litchqvaz" CJSC holds 42nd position, which has a license to operate Litchqvaz -Tey gold mine, with 4 billion 176 million 040 thousand AMD in taxes paid. It was at the bottom of the list in 978th position with revenues of only 179 million 704 thousand AMD in 2020.
"Akhtala Mining and Processing Combine" CJSC holds the 54th position of the list, which operates Shamlugh copper mine, with 3 billion 393 million 622 thousand AMD in taxes paid.
The next miner is Russian "Geopromining Gold" LLC operating Sotq mine at the 244th position on the list with only 776 million 536 thousand AMD in tax revenues.
This year, Lydian Armenia CJSC, which implements Amulsar gold-bearing quartzite mining project, is missing from the list.
