Scientists of the National Scientific Laboratory named after Alikhanyan are developing a new technology for the determination of heavy metals in the area of mines, which enables more accurate measurements. Samples were taken from the surroundings of Amulsar, Akhtala, Qajaran and Sevan basin. Work has been going on for a year and there are certain results.
"We have recorded that there are dangerous substances on the sides of Amulsar, if the mine continues to work, they will become even more dangerous," Albert Shahinyan said, a leading researcher at the National Scientific Laboratory named after Alikhanyan.
