

On 17 July 2026, the second public hearings on the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) Report for the proposed geological prospecting of the western and southeastern sections of the Armanis mineral field, submitted by SAGAMAR CJSC, will be held in Lori Region, according to the Ministry of Environment of the Republic of Armenia.
The public hearings will take place in three communities:
- 12:00 – Stepanavan Municipality;
- 14:00 – Office of the Administrative Head of the Armanis Settlement;
- 15:30 – Office of the Administrative Head of the Urasar Settlement.
According to information published on the website of the Ministry of Environment, the submitted documentation is available for review on the Ministry's official website, as well as on the official websites of the Stepanavan Municipality and the project proponent (where available). However, the EIA Report is not available for download on the Ministry's website. Meanwhile, the official website of the Stepanavan Municipality contains only the announcement of the first public hearing, held in January, together with a brief description of the proposed activity.
