The Chinese Ambassador to Armenia Tian Changchun told the Initiative Group fighting against Hrazan iron mine development, that the “Fortune Oil” has nothing in common with the People’s Republic of China.
On May 25 the Initiative Group met with the Chinese Ambassador to Armenia Tian Changchun in regard with the protest demonstration to be held on May 26 in front of the Chinese Embassy in Armenia. The Ambassador listened to the risks and hazards to be created due to iron mine development and informed his quests he is not competent to interfere into business sector. Under Initiative Group member Anahit Mnatsakanyan, the Hrazdan Aarhus Center Coordinator, the Ambassador has proposes to cooperate in a civil manner.
